The project is being managed by Paul Crawford at Ashfield District Council.Well Read worked with Red Stone to develop an Education Pack for the centre working within their brand concept for the project.The assignment involved researching the history of the heritage site (focussing on its industrial heritage), working with local heritage groups and historians, and consulting with schools and community groups to identify their needs. We also liaised with Guy Taylor Architects, who designed the plans to modify the existing buildings on the heritage site. We mapped out and created all the interpretation content for the project with a view to creating an engaging experience for visitors.
