As a Technical Illustrator, I worked with engineers and analysts to develop technical illustrative data for Logistic Support and User Handbook manuals for defence vehicles. In this role I used CREO and CorelDraw and have become proficient in both programs. As a drafter, I used the AutoDesk suite to alter technical documents after engineering approval. I have experience working with non-compliance reports and the accompanying process.

As a UQ Student Ambassador I attended and helped with careers fairs, student campus visits and school presentations. This role involved a high level of communication and organisation. I thoroughly enjoyed this role as it allowed me to interact with UQ staff, teachers and high school students about something I am passionate about: tertiary education and accessibility to tertiary education. It was great to see students go away with an idea of where and what they might choose to study after school.

In this position I was assigned 2-3 teams of students undergoing a first year engineering design course at the University of Queensland. This role included, marking the students work as well as guiding them through the course work and group dynamics. I enjoyed learning from the course and project coordinators about how a successful project is run.
