I am committed to supporting mission-driven organizations that are courageously and creatively advancing their work to be more responsive to their constituents.An experienced leader, I have been on staff and a consultant to Bay Area community-based nonprofits, philanthropy and local government for 30 years with a focus on supporting individuals, families and youth impacted by poverty, homelessness, foster care and the criminal justice systems to restore their voice, choice and potential. Executive Director, Director of Programs, consultant and other roles have relied on my strong alliance and relationship-building skills. A thread throughout my work has been establishing common ground, mutual respect and shared vision, even among disparate groups. Other strengths including organizational planning; developing and institutionalizing innovative programs; diversifying and developing teams; building values-based organizational cultures and service strategies; funding diversification and nurturing both the cross- and in-sector collaboration needed to serve clients more wholly.
