For Discovery Education, I review and edit materials included in the Discovery Education digital techbooks (World History, American History, Civics, and Geography). I also create answer keys to be used by educators during instruction.

For Education and Testing Services (ETS) and Cognia/Measured Progress, I write standardized test questions. These include single-selection selected response, multiple-selection selected response, technology-enhanced, and written response items. I also harvest and review primary and secondary source materials to be used as item stimuli and create items to be used on the PRAXIS teacher licensure exams.

I have taught the following subjects: U.S. Government, Modern World History, American Studies II, AP Psychology, AP European History, AP Macroeconomics, World Religions, and Dual Enrollment Psychology 101. I have worked with students in all high school grades and at all academic levels.Beyond my regular teaching duties, I advise students who participate in the annual ECON Challenge competition held at Mount St. Mary’s University and co-advise the Junior Class, which includes coordinating the annual prom. I established and manage a charitable fund created to equip our students with clothing, food, and other necessities.
