About Kate Guy

I have worked in mental and physical health, language learning, managing and training staff, supporting people in many sectors and environments improve their lives by supporting them to engage in learning, working, gaining skills, accessing work and education, getting along with others, improving confidence and self-esteem and living with or moving away from a focus of illness to a focus of wellness. I have worked as an OT in a secure psychiatric hospital, managed as many as 350 staff and 35 schools in British Isles annually and helped medical students cope and progress in their medical degree. I have led and trained staff in the workplace for example teaching new staff at the hospital to look after patients in their daily lives and helped patients their gain skills and voluntary roles in the community. I was awarded 'Staff Excellence Award' of 150 staff in 2016. I enjoy and work well with others and am a good and productive team player and work autonomously with little or no hand holding when needed. I am a pleasant colleague to work with and always want the best for any organisation, patient or colleague I work with.
