I am an integrative psychotherapeutic counsellor working in private practise, GP settings and within the voluntary sector in the Peterborough area.I have a significant interest in mindfulness and have trained in mindfulness for individual therapy. I have recently completed training in Mindfulness Based Approaches in accordance with the requirements of the UK Network for Mindfulness Teachers and Teacher-Trainers with Barbara Reid/Growing Edges. I am committed to my own personal mindfulness practice which is in line with the UK Network Guidelines and I receive regular supervision to support my teaching. I will be running the 8 week Mindfulness based stress reduction course with groups in the near future.I have trained with Professor Julia Buckroyd's to teach her Introductory programme for Understanding Your Eating. Focussing on how poor attachment, poor self esteem and poor emotional regulation are all huge problems for clients with eating disorders. I can work one to one or within small groups with clients who want to address obesity and bulimia from an emotional perspective.My hobbies and interests include meditation, horse riding and walking.
