In this role, I am responsible for securing bookings across New Zealand for the popular glazier known as Smith and Smith which falls under the umbrella of Belron an incredibly supportive and innovative global company. In this role I analyse the customers needs and what is required for the customer to get there vehicle back on the road. I identify the glass required for their vehicle and book the customer in to their nearest branch all whilst providing the highest quality of customer service and care I can.

Within this role I was the first point of contact for customers ensuring that their needs were filled and customer satisfaction was achieved. Tasks included stock management, customer relations, social media marketing, sales, online orders and delivery.

In this role my job was to actively listen to the clients needs and wants. I would then research to create the perfect itinerary for them which would include booking tours, airfares, insurance, accomodation and transfers; anything they wanted i would find.

I began my journey at Fornella Farms at a very young age as I wanted to help support my family’s farm and help create success for my grandparents. Since I was about eight years old I would spend most holidays and breaks working on the farm. I started off in the gullies grubbing thistles and working in the yards mostly helping with docking, dosing and mustering. Once I got older I moved into mustering stock, operating tractors, spraying with a pack, landscaping and miscellaneous jobs around the farm. I ensured I was always there lending a hand, learning new skills and developing a strong work ethic which has helped me become the hard worker I am today.

Whilst working here I had roles such as opening the store, prepping and cooking all the food and taking phone calls and orders. Working here showed me how to work in a different environment and do different jobs which I hadn't done before such as making creating Mexican food in one of the newest stores in New Zealand.

I worked at the Napier i-Site and Par2 Mini-Golf for an internship to complete my Level 5 New Zealand Diploma in tourism and travel. My duties whilst working were to give information to tourists, book and sell travel around Hawkes Bay, stocktake, be in sole-charge of the mini-golf, opening and closing of both businesses and day to day duties.

Within in my time being here I sorted out lamb and mutton meat and fat whilst working out the percentages of the products in the box. I also gained my knife handling and health and safety processes qualification.

Whilst working here I had roles such as front desk customer service, answering phone calls and taking phone calls. I improved my customer service skills and gained kitchen skills such as using a deep fryer which allows me to work in any kitchen.

In this role my job was to sort through sheep fleeces, pulling off all contaminated areas which could not be sold for production. Whilst working here I gained skills on attention to detail and how to work in fast-paced environments
