As a Digital Stock Merchandiser, I am responsible for ensuring all used car stock for each site have detailed vehicle descriptions and are competitively priced to help maximise enquiries and aid in increasing stock turn and sales. Daily Duties:- Ensuring that all advert content is accurate and of high quality to promote interaction, enquires and sales on platforms such as AutoTrader, PeterVardy.com, eBay, Gumtree, CarGurus etc. (300+ Car Adverts)- Research newly arrived stock to identify key selling aspects and existing industry reviews. - Liasing with on-site photographers, managing partners and all other team members to ensure adverts and photos are of as accurate and high quality as possible.- Compose engaging and factually accurate stock descriptions, focusing on key research findings.- Analyse and monitor stock volumes and pricing, translating findings into actions to achieve weekly/monthly enquiry and sales targets. - Attend Digital DOC to identify and prioritise revisions to existing stock adverts to maximise offering again competition. - Revisiting and optimising adverts daily, using the recommended reports. - Report daily to management on advert performance. I dealt with the day to day running of the store: managing staff, money/banking, making recommendation, helping with enquries or any complaints while providing assistance and guidance on product choice to deliver the highest standard of customer service.My role covered a multitude of other responsibilities including processing orders, selecting content to upload to our social media pages and taking part in promotional activities & events such as the West End Festival. I was selected by the owner to assist her in a marketing project; writing up an award nomination document to submit to The Greats Awards, the only awards that celebrate gift retailing in the UK. At the end of the project our team presented the final documents and the company was sold on our results - they went on to utilise our business plan for the expansion of their company.
