As 1 of 5 Payroll Officers in a team of 7 Payroll members for Yarra Trams (KDR), I was responsible for all aspects of the Payroll process, from time & attendance management (Hastus), to payroll processing & data checks in our payroll system (ADP Payforce). I performed the processing of the weekly/fortnightly payrolls for Brunswick, Essendon, New Preston, Southbank & Tram Hub depots, with approx. 2,500 active employees on our books (in total) at any given time. I was given the task of producing the weekly SLNC reports for us to evaluate any SL entries which exceeded employee entitlements. I also helped run and manage the New Starter Drivers list, updating all relevant systems (ADP & Success Factors) ensuring all payroll data was up to date, payslip access was set up, all relevant structure parameters (leave entitlement, pay rate/level, employment type, etc) were entered correctly. I was also responsible for the weekly processing of any Medical payments. The team as a whole was responsible for their depots to complete the online onboarding process as well, ensuring all data & documents were loaded correctly, and anything missing was followed up with the relevant Manager/depot. I also had the task of Monthly preparing, lodging & processing the Income Protection payments for Wage Guard, ProtectNET & Affinity/Empire.
