I received advanced level training in clinical psychological intervention and assessment. I was also involved in completing clinical psychological assessments, including assessments of cognitive functioning, personality functioning, functional behavioral assessments, and psychodiagnostic assessments. My job also included completing forensic psychological assessments, including assessment of competency to stand trial, assessment of risk of future violence and assessment of risk of future stalking behaviour. I was involved in providing secondary consultation and recommendations to the treatment team. During my postdoctoral fellowship I also completed a literature review on dynamic assessment of violence risk measures for the hospital committee on violence reduction. Following completion of my fellowship, I returned to the hospital to provide a presentation and training workshop to 100 staff psychologists on assessment of short-term violence risk using the Dynamic Appraisal of Situational Aggression (DASA).
