ManagerDeloitte Sep 2022 - Jan 2023Auckland, New ZealandI am currently working as a Change Manager in the Westpac General Ledger Programme team to support them in building a solution that supports Westpac’s compliance requirements, including BS11, essentially bringing processes onshore. To do this we are implementing Oracle Fusion as the new finance General Ledger for the New Zealand business. My role at a high level is to focus on the build, design and implementation of the change function which includes working with SMEs, BAs and Functional Testers to work out what's changing, how is it changing, what future state will look like and how we are going to achieve this. This includes the creation and execution of key deliverables and activities such as; the change roadmap and plan, business readiness support, change readiness checkpoints, stakeholder engagement, detailed impact assessment, UAT training and execution, business education, personas and journey mapping, TNA, training curriculum, training schedule, comms plan. All of this feeds into our UAT, comms and stakeholder engagement that is currently underway and end user training, go-live and post go-live support which will be kicking off in the new year. -
Senior ConsultantDeloitte Consulting Mar 2021 - Sep 2022New ZealandExciting to end up working back where it all began! I am currently contracting to Deloitte working as a Senior Consultant in Deloitte’s Human Capital Team. I have been part of helping on a range of both private & public sector clients in their IT transformation & change journeys. My current projects exposure, has allowed me to gain indepth knowledge of large change IT programmes, & more intimately the change function. I have been working as part of the Adoption & Improvement Team in the Covid Immunisation Programme which has transitioned into a broader scope, the National Immunisation Solution for the Ministry of Health. My role has seen me contribute to & lead change work within this large programme, with my strength in connecting with people & ability to get the job done to a high standard part of the reason I am where I am today. Within this space I have delivered change deliverables i.e. change strategies, change impact assessments (agile change canvas), change advisories, as well as being heavily involved in the communications & training space i.e. training needs analysis, training strategy and plan right down to creating training collateral and sessions. My view is working together is essential to meet key deliverables in an agile way. An example of this is my ability to flex wider than traditional change deliverables playing heavily in the PMO space where my organisation & ability to manage varying stakeholder groups saw me refine this skillset. I have been the PMO function in numerous project rollouts within this programme, including project reporting, status metrics, facilitation, identification of risks, and the creation and tracking of implementation plans. I have a good understanding of the impact technology changes have on people, remembering that a system is only as good as it driver, therefore we must ensure people feel the change is happening with them, not to them via a thoroughly planned and executed change strategy and collaborative agile team. -
