Supported and led a variety of water quality and surface and ground water supply projects in Colorado.Work included program management, procurement, budget planning, relationship building andmanagement, risk identification, and building consensus among project members.Program Management for the Chatfield Storage Reallocation Project ($175 million)-Managed cultural resource consultant, including agency coordination and consultation, internalcoordination among project members, earned value analysis (EVA) monthly reports, and invoiceand budget tracking for a $190k contract-Procured contracts of $25k to $65 million in value for each environmental mitigation andrecreational facilities modifications project site-Collaborated with internal and external project stakeholders-Directed vegetation management (~$1 million) for environmental mitigation sites includingcontracts, payments, monitoring and quality control, and delivery schedule coordination amongconstruction contractors, engineers, ecologist, biologist, plant nurseries, and clientWatershed Manager for the Chatfield Watershed Authority-Prepared and facilitated Technical Advisory Committee (TAC) and Board meetings withmembers comprised of elected officials, agency staff, lawyers, non-profits, general public, andother stakeholders-Developed policies based on long-term watershed planning strategies, regulations, and TAC andBoard input, such as land use, stormwater, current water quality standards, utility site locationand policies-Implemented strategies to adhere to water quality standards for chlorophyll-a and totalphosphorus under Colorado’s Water Quality Control Commission (WQCC) Control Regulation 73-Reviews site location and design applications and land use referrals (e.g., zoning textamendments, utility infrastructure, planned development designs) for compliance with ControlRegulation 73

Led permitting and environmental planning efforts for small energy projects including renewables andelectric transmission lines.-Managed and reviewed reports and technical documents for project permitting and routingselection process-Collaborated on project schedule development, budget tracking, and used technical data toinform and align project approach with senior leadership-Mentored internal staff, delegated technical tasks to specialists, and developed work prioritiesfor permitting project team, including public outreach-Communicated effectively with engineering firms, clients, and land acquisition groups to discussproject feasibility, routing/siting, land use, research and analysis, and key findings

-Lead permitting and support environmental planning efforts for small to large scale energy projects including FERC Certificate, Section 404 and Section 10 for wetland and waterbody crossings; Section 401 water quality certification; NPDES stormwater and hydrostatic test discharge; right-of-way and special use grants for federal lands; agency consultations; and water appropriation and basin transfers. -Prepare, author, and review reports and technical documents for electric transmission and pipeline projects including Biological Assessments, Resource Reports, Environmental Assessments and Environmental Impact Statements, and Public Utility Certifications. -Collaborate, coordinate, and consult with project team members; Federal, state, and local agencies; landowners; clients; and other stakeholders throughout the life of a project.-Consulting experience in 21 states with specialization in water quality, water appropriation, and threatened and endangered species.

-Collected and recorded biological data of nesting females to track individual species and general population trends. -Excavation and relocation of nesting sites to a single protected site for constant surveillance. -Engaged the local community in building awareness around sea turtle population declines.-Trained new volunteers on technical protocols for data collection.

-Led volunteer groups to complete various riparian restoration tasks through instruction of basic restoration techniques and promoted the discussion and meaning of land stewardship with volunteers.-Wrote two grants to assist staff and support active restoration sites.

-Conducted monthly water quality tests of the Willamette River for temperature, pH, conductivity, dissolved oxygen, and turbidity.

-Specialized in breeding and hatchling research for sea turtle species with an emphasis on the Kemp’s ridley sea turtle. -Collaborating member of the partnership between the USFWS and Sea Turtle Inc. for the South Texas Sea Turtle Project. -Supported additional positions for the Visitor Services and Biological programs focused on wetland restoration; waterfowl counts; and ocelot research focused on habitat and population health. -Developed and presented interpretive and educational materials, conducted programs and tours weekly for all ages.

Planned and coordinated ASUO’s Spring Street Fair the primary fundraiser for student government.Coordinated volunteer assignments for numerous ASUO events.Provided orientation for new interns, stressing teamwork and positive environment.

-Researched historical data records for benchmark elevations changes between 1900 to 2003 to graph change in uplift along Coast Range.

-Created a fun atmosphere while teaching soccer skills and teamwork for 6-year-old to 14-year-old leagues.-Refereed for under 6-year-old leagues up to under 18-year-old leagues.
