• Actively marketing & selling the product and services of Mercantile Group, focusing on generating revenue through marketing activities and event sales initiatives.• Responsible for building, executing & managing Mercantile Group venue relaunches & bespoke group hosted events as required from Commercial perspective.• Collaborating with colleagues within the Commercial team to ensure specified marketing activities suitable for each business are executed flawlessly and in a timely manner to drive event sales.• Meticulously controlling and managing the budget associated with marketing activities and materials required.• Compiling and closely monitoring competitor activity to identify strengths, weaknesses and opportunities upon which The Mercantile Group can engage in activities or event opportunities that will generate revenue for the overall business or individual venue(s) at hand.• Collaborating with the digital team to ensure consistency and alignment of all marketing materials across all channels (print, digital, social media).• Developing and regularly updating appropriate sales presentations, pdfs and packs requiredto support the individual brands & drive event sales.• Working with PR agencies on any venue launches or events.• Developing innovative ideas for campaigns and marketing activities - ensuring each business has relevant promotions running to coincide with all calendar events.• Representing the Mercantile Entertainment Group at corporate trade exhibitions & networking events working closely with exhibition organisers, stand designers & constructors.

• Establishing, owning & developing a portfolio of clients continuously focusing on driving revenue by adopting our groups offering to meet the varying event needs of different groups.• Engaging in pre, during & post event plans for clients, including but not limited to; the bid process, event logistics planning & communication of same to ensure best practice & flawless events are delivered.• Managing all aspects of client events- including catering, transport & the ordering of required AV equipment from external suppliers.• Maximizing the profitability of 12 of the group’s key businesses, by managing relationships & developing outbound event sales strategies that match ever-changing consumer requirements.• Identifying consumer trends & sharing insights with marketing department, making recommendations as to how new business can be established through online & offline initiatives. • Communicating the progress of all initiatives to internal managers & shareholders.

Integral member of The Wright Bar Group's commercial team from 2013-2015. While at The Wright Bar Group, it was my responsibility as sales & digital marketing executive to -Create, develop and implement online marketing plans and strategies for multiple bars and restaurants. -Generate and execute marketing campaigns across social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and Twitter.-Work with in-house designers to produce materials of visual impact, within brand guidelines.-Generate reports for digital marketing campaigns using data based analytical tools before presenting this data in an easy to understand format. -Monitor online competitor activity-Act as the key point of contact between the organization and its clients, answering questions, offering advice & introducing new products with the aim of maximizing profits.
