If I had to choose one thing that can shape the future, I'd go for education.I genuinely believe in the power of education for everyone. As educators, we should focus on 21st-century skills evolving, such as critical thinking, working with sources and information, distinguishing facts and opinions, metacognition and self-reflection, inquiry skills etc.At the same time, education must bring joy to the learners or at least satisfaction. As babies, we all have a natural curiosity that makes us explore the world around us. So, designing a tool or a learning approach in a way that raises this feeling - is a super important thing to me.After years of looking for things that inspire me, I found a fascinating branch of science - learning sciences. Right now, doing my PhD in this field, I feel I do something that really matters and can impact people. My work focuses on apprentices and vocational education in Switzerland (VET).
