In this position, worked as part of the Environmental Team in Laing O’Rourke’s Suburban Rail Loop East Initial and Early Works Project. I was involved in site inspections, and ensured we are meeting and exceeding the environmental commitments made to the client. I was also responsible for updating inductions and ensuring compliance with contractual obligations, as well as completing system audits and updating processes.

As part of my role at Plastic Oceans Australasia, I have been instrumental in the completion of various projects. I have conducted research for an industry-first life cycle assessment of plastic takeaway containers, helped write a procurement policy guide for the POA EPIC Business Program, as well as conducting research that was used in a tender application submitted to Stadiums Queensland to find alternatives to single-use plastic cups.
