Before starting my own company, I was looked upon as a leader by my employers. It is said that I have the ability to create a "community" among my peers and bring a fresh perspective. My solo creative work has lead to a self-published poetry book and I am continuing in this field currently working on my second book of poetry. The illustrations of my books are my own work as well. I have recently delved into digital art since that is the trend illustrating books right now. I'm a poet who is brutally honest and an artist who is honestly brutal!I have been a tutor and mentor to many young authors and authors who are trying to get a start. While working for Farmers Insurance Group, I was involved with new employee training, evolving and upgrading skills of employees, checking the work of my peers and counseling on how to improve productivity. During my retail management years, I was responsible for attracting new customers with vibrant product displays and slogans. I worked with city and government officials to have permits passed for products and distribution. Currently, I am focused on my writing, restarting my Etsy store with antiques and hand made resin jewelry. I'm also looking for a job that I can perform at home on my computer.
