The Alachua County Humane Society is a limited-intake animal shelter in the Gainesville area. The mission is to save healthy and treatable animals from euthanasia and making Alachua County a no-kill county. At the shelter, I work as the Adoption and Foster coordinator. I process adoptions of animals in the shelter and place them into loving homes. While they are waiting to be ready for adoption, I place them into temporary foster homes.
