Cross Country Skiing Assocation Victoria (XCSAV) is the voice of cross country skiing and we represent the interests of XC skiers throughout Victoria.

Building cybersecurity culture and engagement at AGL

• Envisaged and nurtured the idea for the successful ‘25 Faces of the Hoppet’ campaign to celebrate the 25th Kangaroo Hoppet (part of the Worldloppet Series of international ski races) • A new profile is being introduced each week in the 25 weeks leading up to the 2015 Kangaroo Hoppet. They were published locally and internationally through email, newspaper and social media• This campaign increased awareness of the 25th anniversary in the Hoppet community, improved social networking in the xc community and encourage more people to get on their xc skis in 2015• Reviewed the Hoppet social media strategy by changing the way they communicate using Facebook and also created a new platform on Instagram to build a younger following of the Kangaroo Hoppet• Expanded the Kangaroo Hoppet social media footprint by planning and managing a successful instagram competition for the 2015 Kangaroo Hoppet #myhoppetsnap• Organised and judged a popular photo calendar competition for a 2017 Hoppet Calendar to sell at the 2016 Kangaroo Hoppet

- Currently involved in building a brand for cross country skiing in Australia to attract sponsorship for the Australian XC ski team and the xc community as a whole- Liaise with the committee, Ski XC Australia, Kangaroo Hoppet, Ski and Snowboard Australia to develop strategies to improve the profile of cross country skiing in Australia- Building, with a collaborative group of like minded people, a school aged training project called discoverxcski from a 'Giving from Grassroots' grant to bring rollerskiing into schools- Developed and delivered the concept of www.discoverxcski.com to promote xc skiing to the general community with the aim to build a vibrant cross country skiing community in Australia- Redeveloping the current www.ausxc.com website to promote the Australian Cross Country Ski team and nurture a passionate cross country ski community- Collaborating with a virtual team, around Australia, to drive the designing, development and content for both websites- Building an understanding of how to maximise both social media and traditional media opportunities to promote a brand- Developed a new design for the printable event calendar

President of a local community run kindergarten. The role involves managing and liaising with the committee, staff and City of Boroondara. Chairing of monthly meetings, performance management and development of the teaching staff.

• Worked with a team of four volunteers to raise over $20,000 to improve facilites at the kindergarten • Planned and delivered a number of fundraising initiatives throughout the year culminating in very successful themed Trivia Night and Silent Auction
