I led a small team responsible for ensuring that hospital training sites for anaesthetists in Australia and New Zealand met ANZCA and Australian Medical Council (AMC) accreditation standards. This involved managing the site visit program and ensuring the Accreditation Committee had the information they needed to assess the quality of each site.I also led ANZCA’s Specialist International Medical Graduate (SIMG) team to ensure overseas trained anaesthetists working in Australia were appropriately assessed and monitored during their initial period of limited medical registration with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA).

My responsibilities included:• analysing, forecasting and validating institutional effectiveness data • preparing for accreditation visits and leading continuous improvement committees • presenting complex data to senior management and contributing to annual reports.

The Australian University (formerly ACK) delivers internationally accredited qualifications in business, engineering and aviation. Reporting to the Diploma of Management Course Coordinator, I was responsible for ensuring the business programs met Australian Quality Training Framework (AQTF) accreditation requirements. The role included leading instructors in the development of assessment materials and validating assessments across four diploma units. I also delivered a wide variety of Diploma level business units.
