Responsible for the strategic development and delivery of change management strategies relating to and necessary for the successful implementation of major projects within Metro South Health. The role is a key part of the strategic management team oversighting relevant major projects working closely with the executive sponsor, Project Managers and lead clinicians.

Recruited to provide strategic leadership for the delivery of high quality services in alignment with MIFQ values. Implemented the Clinical Governance Framework for teams across the Gold Coast Region, enhanced services and established consistency in program evaluation. Contributed to building high performing organisation leading into NDIS and navigated the organisation through the current health care environment which at times was complex and ambiguous. - Trained and evaluated up to 50 MIFQ staff in the Clinical Governance Framework.- Line Management of Wayback Project (Consortia of Beyond Blue and Brisbane North Primary Health Network) Suicide Prevention Service.- Led organisational change in order to consolidate new model of service provision “Going Mobile" that resulted in improved outcomes for participants and realised cost savings for MIFQ.- Participated in a range of initiatives that built staff capacity and resulted in best practice recognition within the mental health environment. - Managed and fostered internal and external relationships across boundaries such as Specialist Mental Health Services, Gold Coast Hospital Health Service, Department of Communities, Child Safety and Disability Services, Department of Social Services, Griffith University Gold Coast Primary Health Networks, FSG, Aftercare and Drug Arm. - Guided a group with five direct reports including Service Coordinators, Program Leads, Administration Officer and Intake Officer.- For the Gold Coast Primary Health Network (GCPHN) Service Design oversaw the tender process development for Suicide Prevention, support and transition model. - Enjoyed learning more about the Human Services Quality Framework accreditation and assisting with the development of the MIFQ Regional Business Plan.- Commissioned Team Mental Health Services for the Department of Health (DoH) with the Gold Coast Primary Health Network (GCPHN) and successfully achieved Mental Health reform agenda targets.

Managed, coordinated and authored the CHQ HHS Cultural Enhancement Strategy 2014 -2019 reporting against 33 Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). Designed and launched CHQHHS Visibility of the Values Strategy and oversaw Divisional workshops for the merge of Royal Children’s Hospital and the Mater Children’s Hospital into the Lady Cilento Children’s Hospital in 2014/2015. - Accountable for all aspects of project and change management including strategies such as team building, formal and informal mentorship, leadership development and coaching.- Analysed and interpreted a range of complex data and prepared project reports for CHQ HHS Executive.- Managed large-scale projects within CHQ HSS while developing formal and comprehensive plans to review timelines and endorse deliverables on preparation for the opening of LCCH.- Engaged in cultural development activities during the merge of two separate hospitals into one purpose built Children’s Hospital.
