Overall responsibility for the Human Resource function of the group including the implementation of the people strategy and the provision of advice, guidance andsupport to the management team.

Leading a team delivering project outcomes, co-ordinating staffing activities and resources, implementation of organisational policies and procedures. Responsible for the coordination of work-related accredited training and leading a team of internal quality assurers.

Acting as the lead on accredited training for the organisation. Overseeing and implementing the internal quality assurance process for the organisation. Responsible for selecting and developing new training material, advising and supporting assessors and internal verifiers and ensuring that standards are adhered to. Managed DFN Project SEARCH internship at the Princess of Wales hospital. This project supports young people with learning disabilities and or Autism in undertaking Internships within the hospital setting. I have worked on numerous projects supporting young people with learning disabilities and/ or autism to obtain paid employment. I have experience in undertaking initial home visits and vocational profiling of participants, delivering Agored Cymru accredited units, negotiating with employers to gain unpaid and paid work opportunities and dealing with benefits queries and access to work applications.

I was responsible for running induction training for all new starters and implementing all additional training needs for existing store employees. I also dealt with administration duties such as preparing monthly training packs, booking staff on national training courses, record keeping, screening potential candidates & assisting in the co-ordination of store training.

I was responsible for supporting the General Manager in the day to day running of the store. I held both Sales and Operations Management positions. As Operations manager I was required for dealing with all aspects of Human Resources including recruitment, staff induction and training, ongoing staff development and management, management of staff rotas and annual leave etc. During this time I also managed three projects in other stores (interim management, remodel a store, manage the opening of a new store).
