I am a trained user of the Cornell Nanoscale Facitlity as well as the Cornell Center for Materials Research. I studied fundamental properties of materials for WillowTM architectural laminates. I quantified effects of temperature and humidity on engineered wood products for composites.

During my internship I did multiple hardness and tensile tests on electron beam welds, Nicrobraze 50, age hardened and annealed samples of copper chrome zirconium, reporting my findings to both the PPPL lab and International Thermonuclear Experimental Reactor (ITER). I also drew designs and wrote procedures for parts to be used in the National Spherical Torus Experiment (NSTX), a magnetic fusion device.
