Management and oversight of a diverse array of litigation and employment matters. Core functions include handling of employment matters; provision of direct litigation, employment, investigative, and compliance support to business operations executives, human resources and risk departments, clinical operations teams, clinicians, and staff; and drafting, revision, and maintenance of litigation and employment-related policies, procedures, and contracts. Key projects thus far include sourcing and implementation of in-house eDiscovery platform to handle data at all stages along the EDRM, development of system and protocol for early case assessment, elimination of vendor costs, and streamlining large eDiscovery projects. Analyzing and refining legal operations systems to allow better litigation and matter management, reduce spend, achieve early and favorable outcomes, and best capitalize on granular analytics. Successfully managing diverse litigation portfolio, including employment, professional and general liability, healthcare, and regulatory matters. Balancing in-house performance of substantive legal work with assembling, deploying, and partnering with appropriate outside counsel and subject matter experts suited to each matter.
