Chess Haus isn't a chess club. You don't have to be a member, you don't even have to know how to play chess. It's a curated space that's created to offer chess in a non-traditional setting. Working as a brand strategist for all clients of Comms Study, responsibilities include researching trends, providing insights for improved engagement, managing campaign projects, partnerships, giveaways, pitch lists for press outlets and writing copy for newsletters. Paid internship with this accredited land trust. During my time working with SAHC, we partnered with APHIS (Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service) and private landowners to spread awareness and work towards eradication of a hybrid invasive feral hog species. I surveyed damage in Western North Carolina and Eastern Tennessee, installed and monitored wildlife cameras, noting plant and invertebrate species affected, used GPS and GIS mapping, contributed photos and written works to SAHC’s newsletter and presented research at conference in Kingsport, Tennessee along-side SAHC directors
