Creating individual support plans for students with additional needs across 3 schools. Providing proactive support to applicants disclosing learning needs or disabilities.Monitoring of all aspects of student progress including attendance, retention, and achievement.Signposting and referring students to external agencies.Act as a primary point of contact for students, parents, academic staff and external agencies on SEND.Advising students about DSA, SFE, and other bursaries and grants.Supporting with the facilitation of university open days and experience days.Carrying out deputy designated safeguarding lead responsibilities including: monitoring incidents of safeguarding via CPOMS and liaising with external agencies as required.Attending academic hearings and attendance concerns meetings.Attending PEP and EHCP reviews.Liaising with teaching staff, communicating student needs to relevant staff where appropriate and in line with confidentiality and safeguarding policies.Working in partnership with building and technical teams to ensure that the building and facilities are accessible and inclusive to students.
