I currently teach Algebra 2 in collaboration with a special education teacher, AP Calculus BC and Multivariable Calculus. I am also the Math Team Coach.

I taught the second year of our IB Math Standard Level course. I taught a self-designed Pre-Calculus class for seniors, designed to prepare them for their college-level courses. Lastly, I taught a course designed to prepare students to pass the Algebra I NYS Regents who were not able to pass after their first year of Algebra I.As the Student Interventions Coordinator, I ran a variety of programs that support our students. I coordinated with teachers to run our Saturday School program geared toward NYS Regents Prep. And, for the past three summers, I coordinated the Summer School program to help our students recover credit in courses that they did not pass. I organized any student retention coordination as well as monitored and organized our students who need to take supplemental online courses through the Apex program.As the Math Department Chair, I coached my department’s new staff to ensure their smooth transition into our school. I also helped develop our department’s curriculum development, ensuring that all courses have a sustainable and effective instructional plan, including well developed quarter assessments and connection to our overarching vision for the HVAH Math student.

I meet with students from a variety of backgrounds and math needs one on one to assist with their academic work and also help prepare them for larger assessments based on their current course work and grade level.

I taught Algebra 1 and Geometry. I worked with my collaborative special education teacher to modify all major exams for those subjects. I was the Math Team coach and the faculty advisor for the Wags 4 Hope club. I also helped to run the SAT/ACT administrations at FWHS.
