I am an experienced biotechnologist, with expertise in laboratory automation, molecular biology and project management. As a scientist at Novozymes headquarters in Denmark I worked on a variety of projects. These include building a data/sample pipeline for NGS samples from submission, through robotic library preparation, loading on to the sequencer, and user interface for data/sample status viewing. I was a member of the automation core whose mission is to lower the barrier to automation across the organization. I was also the Product Owner for the first stage of an internal product aiming to connect various parts of the new product development pipeline with laboratory automation and an improved data pipeline.As a team member at Novozymes in San Francisco I lead the site's automation group, and helped develop platforms & assays for directed evolution of enzymes as part of a protein engineering pipeline.I am passionate about problem solving and helping researchers make their own jobs easier through automation and better data handling.
