As Director of Membership and Communications with ASHA, I am responsible for effectively communicating the member-value proposition to ASHA Certified members as well as for coordination and evaluation of ASHA’s membership and member recognition and benefits programs, and for the recruitment and retention of targeted member cohorts. In my role of Teach & Inspire Program Manager, I supervised a staff of 6 employees with the goal of certifying and providing professional development to 1,800 teachers through a U.S. Department of Education grant. I was responsible for creating quarterly recruitment plans to ensure a high volume of qualified applicants, including planning event schedule and locations, marketing strategy, and determining target populations based on data trends.
