I created and produce a nationwide series on PBS called "TO DINE FOR" - If you ask someone to name their favorite restaurant, you're likely to get a revealing answer. A joint, a dive, a café -- a person’s response to this question can represent the beginning of their history, a celebration of their culture, or perhaps a glimpse into their obsession with an amazing cheeseburger. To Dine For uses this very question as a foundation for a conversation with the world’s most brilliant and innovative minds. In this series, we go with the guest to their favorite restaurant wherever that is in the world. We experience the atmosphere, the location, the ambience, and we eat what they love. Then we hear how they made it, how they struggled, how they define the American dream and how they have tried to achieve it. The guests featured on this show are the "go getters" and the "creators" and the "dreamers" that are turning nothing into something. They are entrepreneurs, change agents, musicians, actors, newsmakers and truly fascinating people who are changing the world and this show is an invitation to a meal with them and a toast to them.
