Kate Webber is currently offering remote bookkeeping and accounting to clients on cloud-based accounting packages. The aim of this is to set clients up to be completely electronic, and have all records (including invoices and payroll timesheets) on the cloud. Kate has 14 years' industry experience, four as a bookkeeper and 10 working in public practice in business advisory, and tax and compliance. Kate's experience includes preparing accounts and tax returns for large business groups, small to medium enterprises and individuals, and she has broad experience with accounting software packages, with a special interest in those offered on the cloud (she is a Certified Xero Advisor). Kate has extensive bookkeeping experience with small companies (especially those within the hospitality industry, tech start-ups, and health and tourism sector), including accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and GST, income tax and super obligations. Kate majored in both accounting and corporate governance, which she has a keen interest in, leading to her position as Treasurer for a non-for-profit organisation. Kate's prior experience was in hospitality management, and as a result, has a real understanding of the day-to-day inner workings of a business.
