Provides strategic leadership and oversight for finance & administration, operations, personnel management, space management, informatics, fundamental laboratory and clinical research administration, educational programs, communications, community outreach and engagement and development. A member of the senior leadership team at the UVMCC and provides expert leadership in devising and implementing strategies aligned with National Cancer Institute expectations. Responsible for delivering excellence and innovation with integrated solutions across functional areas of the UVMCC, UVM, and UVM Medical Center. Responsible for tracking and measuring outcomes for a diverse portfolio of UVMCC activities. Acts as or represents UVMCC leadership on various committees and boards and with community stakeholders and granting agencies. Serves as a key liaison to the University of Vermont Foundation, Schools and Colleges across the UVM campus, and to leadership within the UVM Medical Center and UVM Health Network. Promotes a respectful, safe, and healthy community life for a diverse staff.
