Hello and welcome to my page! I was born and raised in San Diego, CA, and have always had a bubbly and ethereal personality with a passion for the performing arts, writing, and being in nature- especially by the ocean! I consider myself an artist first and foremost, though my many passions and hobbies live under that broad and colorful umbrella. I started stage acting at the age of twelve, immediately fell in love with it, and ended up earning a BA in Performing Arts with an emphasis in Acting from Saint Mary's College of California in the East Bay of San Francisco. I studied various performance techniques such as dance, music, and theatre whilst in college, and continued my studies at The Art Of Acting Studio of Los Angeles formed by the famous Stella Adler herself, which earned me the equivalent of a masters degree in acting. "All the world's a stage, and all the men and women merely players" as William Shakespeare wrote in his famous, As You Like It. And while I lived as an actor, I also worked a variety of additional jobs to help support me while I focussed on my craft. The world is our stage, and I truly believe we are the directors, casting directors, performers, and costume designers within our daily lives. We have the choice to take charge of the direction of our lives in every possible way we can to create something beautiful out of it. I have years of experience in supervising adults, working with children, multitasking duties, and have acquired an abundance of patience. I am a wizard in time management, problem solving, thinking on ones feet, going with the flow, and improvising in times of need (characteristics that come with the territory of working with children, acting on the stage, and are of course valued in most industries overall).Currently, I am back in school at National University where I am earning my Elementary School Teaching Credential along with a Masters in Social and Emotional learning. I have always had a charismatic and empathetic heart, and I feel my performing arts experiences will only support my new career path as a teacher. Reminds me of the Art Of Acting Studio core belief which states that, "Growth as an actor and growth as a human being are synonymous". For this current school year, I am also working as a first grade teachers aid to give me experience working in the field, and help me find my place as a future elementary school teacher.

ActorThe Art Of Acting Studio Sep 2004 - Jul 2019I've been a thespian since I was twelve years old, acting for the stage. By heart I am an actor, and artist by nature. I pursued acting whether it was for the stage, or in front of the camera throughout my career. I auditioned and performed for every school play I could, which led me to the passion and desire of studying the art and history of theatre at Saint Mary's College of California. They have a renowned Performing Arts Department, and I earned my BA in the Performing Arts with an Emphasis in Acting. We studied and spectated all of the fields of performing arts, including classical and contemporary music, dance, and theatre. This led me to be nominated for the Irene Ryan: Kennedy Center American College Theater Festival in 2015. At which, I performed a scene with a partner for the competition, as well as auditioned for the Art of Acting Studio of Los Angeles, created by the one and only Stella Adler. I received a call-back to audition again for the school, and was accepted. Over six-hundred actors audition for this school world wide every year, though only up to twenty-five are accepted, and I was one of them that year. It is a three-year acting intensive conservatory, where you receive a certificate of the equivalent of a Master's Degree. "Growth as an actor and growth as a human being are synonymous" is their motto, and has rung true through all aspects of my life. Thereafter, I was picked up and signed by a commercial and modeling agent for two years. I lived in LA and worked multiple jobs at a time, while also auditioning for commercials and plays. I acted in a couple of plays, as well as featured in a couple of shows amongst colleagues. Since moving back to San Diego in 2019, I put acting on pause- and then the Covid Pandemic began, and the acting industry went on pause as a whole for a long time. I have yet had the opportunity to dip my toes into the acting world again, though it will continue to remain a passion of mine in any and every shape and form.

NannyPersonal Nanny (Freelance) Sep 2015 - Jun 2019Los Angeles, California, United StatesI was a nanny for two different families in Los Angeles at two different times when I lived there. Working with families is personal and individual. Every family dynamic and forms of communication are different. Each family I worked for had two children. The first family had an older daughter of age seven at the time, and a younger son at the age of four. The second family had an older daughter of age four at the time, and a younger daughter at age eighteen months. The first family needed me to do pick-ups from their individual schools and bring them home for snacks, play time, homework time, and meal prep. I was expected to clean after the family, do their dishes, prepare the children's lunches for the next school day, prepare their dinner, and bring them to a variety of after school activities. I worked for this family for around seven months, before being offered the leadership position at Gold Arrow Camp for the summer of 2016. The second family I nannied for I worked for about six months before moving back to San Diego in the summer of 2019. This family lived in my neighborhood, and I mostly spent time walking with the children to the local park, playing with them outside, and giving them snacks. We would then walk back home, and either spend time in their apartment, outside in the courtyard, or having dinner as a family. This nanny family treated me like one of their own, and I still keep in touch with them since moving back to San Diego.

Personal AssistantPersonal Assistant Sep 2016 - Oct 2017Los Angeles County, California, United StatesI was a personal assistant for a professor from the Art of Acting Studio of Los Angeles. I helped manage her calendar, took notes and transcribed material for her, ran errands, planned parties, took her child to school sometimes, handled spreadsheets for her, and sat in a few of her classes. -
Group Counselor And Leadership TeamGold Arrow Camp Jun 2013 - Aug 2016Huntington Lake, CaliforniaI worked as a camp counselor at Gold Arrow Camp for multiple summers. From 2013 to 2015 I worked as a Group Counselor at Gold Arrow where I was in charge of supervising my cabin of campers throughout their entire experience at camp. I cared for them like they were my own children, and made sure they were kept safe, healthy, and happy. I was in charge of time-management, and brought them throughout the entire camp for each and every one of their activities. The key to being and working at camp is to have a positive attitude in every given moment, and to encourage those around you. Camp is a place of safety and kindness towards everyone. In the Summer of 2016 I was asked to come back and work on the leadership team and be a manager to the Group Counselors. This meant that I was in charge of the women in the position that I used to be in myself. The difference was that I was to manage and care for the counselors as well as to check in on the campers and make sure everyone was safe, healthy, happy, and getting along. I helped manage emotions, difficult situations of conflict, and went around camp checking in on my twelve cabins, their counselor and cabin dynamics, as well as the campers. It was a beautiful, fun, challenging, and rewarding time of my life. I loved and appreciated every moment of it.
