I love being an educator! When I am teaching, I get to be the real me and share my love of learning. After accidentally falling into teaching young learners over ten years ago I am now happy to say that there is no going back. In fact, I have just returned to New Zealand from my second home in Ha Noi having been accepted to AUT’s PGDip Teaching and Learning – Primary 2025 intake.Some of my values and strengths you may find interesting include:A love of helping people learn how to learn.A passion for helping people find their voice and use it. Connecting with others with compassion and empathy.Taking a strengths-based approach to valuing and respecting others.Advocating for diversity and inclusion. This is of especial importance to me as I have the lived experience of discovering how my neurodivergence is of value, and how self-advocacy, accommodations, and inclusion has had a positive impact on me and the people around me.Teaching aside, I am also an experienced event manager and office administrator.
