Individually tailored on-on-one English lessons with dozens of students weekly for 9 weeks of lessons each. The students ranged from complete beginners who needed the basics of English grammar explained to them in Hebrew or French to near fluent second-language English speakers working on the details of their pronunciation and business-specific vocabulary. The main foci were speech and fluency, vocabulary expansion, productive grammar, and reading comprehension at all levels.

Working closely with both in-office and remote teams (homeworkers and global branches of the company, as well as global clients).

I set up a medium sized secondary school library (10,000 books plus other resources) including choosing materials, co-ordinating with teachers to provide appropriate resources and class orientations, devising library rules and procedures, recruiting, training & managing volunteers as well as an employed assistant. I also managed the Library Management Program (Alice) including inputting all data and choosing, applying and adapting the Dewey classification system. I mentored a number of students, formally and informally, as well as providing staff IT training on occasion.

I led the initial team for a new supported housing project for adult women with learning disabilities. We facilitated the women who lived there in moving in and establishing their own home, desires, routines and community involvement. My major task, as the only member of the team (or household group) who had not come from a background of residential institutions, was to encourage and enable all involved (including family and friends) to change their familiar dynamic to one where the members of staff were supportive visitors (even when represented full-time) of tenants in their own home, rather than the people in charge, while recognising and utilising the expertise and experience of the staff team. I also underwent Person Centred Planning training and facilitation with a tenant of another supported house staffed by Yad Voezer, as well as several rounds of more general training in learning disabilities, care and support, handling and safety, and first aid.
