Following the 2013 and 2016 earthquakes I was seconded from my original position of Procurement Specialist to Projects Procurement & Contracts Manager. As Projects Procurement & Contracts Manager I provided all procurement management within the project team that was required to rebuild a resilient Winery in Marlborough and relocate wine volume to other sites, minimising risk to the business. Prior to being seconded, I delivered procurement services to the Viticulture, Winery and Operations teams while also ensuring all Site Services were in place for all sites throughout New Zealand ensuring the reduction of waste to landfill. I consistently exceeded my KPI’s in cost savings and delivered my projects on time and within budget. Key tasks:Developing, managing and maintaining numerous internal and external relationships within NZ and Australia to optimise value and service levels to the business.Working closely with stakeholders and team members assisting them to achieve their deliverables.Developing and implementing strategic procurement strategies, while identifying and mitigating risk.Contract negotiations and management using both PRW and Industry Standard contracts (NZS3915).Working closely with the company insurers and senior management to identify the loss and rebuild cost estimates, reaching insurance settlement in 18 months, rather than the previous settlement that took 3 years.Working with internal stakeholders, engineers and suppliers to manage the ‘end to end’ tender process required for all project and indirect procurement for all sites throughout NZ.Proactively identifying potential opportunities for cost savings, service improvements and added value.Conducting supplier reviews and managing subsequent added value and service level improvements.Detailed monthly, quarterly and annual reporting identifying usage, spend, forecast and savings.Working closely with the senior leadership team to achieve PRW’s goals.
