Monolith Software LLC, based in Frisco Texas, acquired the intellectual property of the Federos product after the liquidation of TDB Fusion. A number of former employees from TDB were asked to join Monolith to continue the development and support the Federos product.After a year, with no new customer sales, an empty pipeline, and no solutions engagements in sight the role of Solutions Architect was scrapped and I was made redundant.Accomplishments• Transition from TDB to Monolith including re-branding of User Interface, marketing materials, training courses and videos• Training of the Monolith sales and engineering teams to sell and support the Federos product• Pre-Sales presentations and demonstrations of the Federos product to potential customers and partners around the world

Provider of Unified System Management and Business Process Management products within the OSS, BSS and Data Centre Management market spaces.TDB Fusion (previously known as TDB Networks) were initially a re-seller of Network Fault, Configuration Management, Performance and Reporting software, as well as consulting services surrounding Network Configuration and Management. I was hired by TDB to establish an R&D function within the business and to work on the design and development of products within the Network Management space. The result of this work was the Federos product, which provides a unified view of business, IT and data centre systems within a customizable workflow and integration solution.The Federos product was awarded ‘Best in Class’ in the Gartner IT Process Automation (ITPA) Market Guide, and more recently TDB Fusion won the ‘Emerging Technology Company’ award at The Business Magazine Southern Tech 100 awards.Accomplishments• Transitioned the business for a Reseller to a Software Development house• Initial concept, architecture and development of the Federos product• Product road-map, release planning, requirements gathering and competitive analysis• Building and managing the Development and Testing team• Laying down Best Practice for the Development and Testing team• Sales and pre-Sales engagements with existing customers and new opportunities

Nexus Telecom acquired the rights to the Nortel Performance Reporting portfolio in September 2001. Four member of staff from Nortel transitioned over to work with Nexus.During my time with Nexus I was responsible for the growth of the Performance product to account for 50% of the company revenue (10Mil CH F overall), directly leading to the three most successful trading years for the company in the previous decade.In April of 2006 Nexus made the decision to concentrate all design, development and management activities in their Switzerland office, and all non-Swiss employees were made redundant.Accomplishments• Transition of the product codebase from Nortel to Nexus• Training of the Nexus development, support and sales teams• Product road-map, release planning, requirements gathering and competitive analysis• From 2003 onwards; CTO looking after both the Performance reporting and Billing parts of the business.• Sales and pre-Sales engagements with existing customers and new opportunities• Running a multi-disciplinary development team based in UK, Switzerland and Canada• Vendor and partnership management with Nortel and Siemens

Nortel Networks acquired X-CEL Communications in May of 1999.Nortel Networks acquired the rights to the X-CEL Communications Reporting product portfolio in May 1999, along with all employees.Founded the System Engineering team acting as System Engineering Team Leader and managing the many activities of the team on and off site. The team represents the interested of the end customer within the Research and Development cycle for new products. As part of this process the team produces technical documentation, white papers, FAQs, bug lists, workarounds, engineering guidelines etc.Development of Network Performance and Planning tools was terminated in Q3 2001, and all staff associated with the products were made redundant.Accomplishments• Transition of X-CEL support into Nortel global support system• Y2K roll-over testing and support (with no customer issues)• Established and managed the System Engineering team• Management of First Customer Ship (FCS) releases to lead customers• 2nd Line support of product
