I currently take on freelance advocacy opportunities after my bout with meningitis in 2012. Disease prevention and immunization awareness is something that I am passionate about as I have gone through it myself. Some of my various responsibilities have included:•participate in national campaigns to educate the public on vaccine-preventable diseases and the importance of vaccination•collaborate with various organizations to reach many different audiences, e.g., parents, peers, healthcare employees, and healthcare providers•shoot promotional videos and photos and participate in interviews on various projects

In my position at Edinburgh Medical, I have grown exponentially both personally and professionally. This job is fast-paced, people-oriented, and where patient care is of the utmost importance. I daily send faxes, organize files and records, schedule appointments, and give instructions to patients after appointments. I have become very proficient in the program P.S. Suite as well as grown my skills in Excel.I also tests swabs, process urine tests, and complete well-baby checks as well as assisting doctors in chaperoning pap and breast testsI have excellent organizational and communication skills both over the phone & in-person and I possess a passion for the health and well-being of others.

I worked as a dietary aid part-time during the school year as well as full-time during the summer of 2017. I regularly assisted in the kitchen before, during, and after meals as well as served meals to the residents in accordance with their intolerances/allergies/preferences. I also cleaned work areas (kitchen, dining room, etc.) after meals as well as adhered to the Food Safety guidelines.As well, I helped to make the retirement home a safe and welcoming environment by daily interacting with the residents and their families.

I worked as a director for this organization's summer camp program in the summer of 2015 and as a director and nutrition coordinator in the summer of 2016. I helped to plan weekly camp program schedules for counselors and campers as well as oversaw the counselors and implemented weekly meetings with staff.As well, I dealt with parent/ camper concerns and tracked payments made by parents/guardians for camp.When I took on the nutrition coordinator position, I was responsible for creating, acquiring, and implementing a healthy snack program for three day-camp sites in Guelph
