Flounce London, Aldgate EastMay 2018 – PresentDesign studio Assistant for a High Street Supplier.- Assistant to the Head Designer, who produces wholesale collections for several successful online accounts and boutiques; ASOS, Silkfred and Sisterglam.- Design amd studio support to help shape collection vision.- Liaise with Suppliers, Factories and Buyers to ensure smooth running of critical path.- Excel proficient.- Responsible for day to day tasks for the Silkfred account; from emailing, customer service care, packing sales and returns, control of stock and sales analysis.- Support within a fast-paced environment to ensure products are fitted, technical packs, pattern amendments and fabric costings are achieved within desired timescales.- Working with Influencers to promote and grow the brand.

- Running the studio that produces five collections a year. - Managing studio workflow, responsible for completing tasks by critical path.- Managing a team of machinists, pattern cutters and training interns. - Advising and resolving constructions issues.- Meeting clients for bespoke fittings, advising and fitting the garment to their requirements.- Working monthly social events, to expand client base and create new sales. Responsible for overseeing the technical packs and measuring each client as part of their sales package.- Training interns in pattern cutting, hand stitching, fabric cutting and garment construction.- Working with the Creative Director within fittings to achieve desired look. - Attending weekly company meetings to view and assess the company’s development and how to improve working practices.- Manually grading sizes for production patterns.- Thoroughly checking patterns and final samples before sending into production.- Quality checking production.

- Created the patterns for a 60 piece womenswear collection for S/S ’17 which was successfully marketed onto fashion buyers- Worked directly with Creative Director to help shape collection vision- Sole Pattern Cutter in a team of ten- Solely responsible for simplification of garment production processes- Finalised alterations, fittings and technical packs for production- Graded the patterns from the collection

- Assisted Creative Director with design for S/S ’17 collection- Created bespoke womenswear collection based on Japanese silhouettes - Produced garments by draping on mannequin stand - Fully constructed a line of twenty appliqué garments for production

- Worked for Head of Product Development, Jewellery as part of small intern team- Designed jewellery product catalogues for S/S ’15 collection which were sent to industry -buyers- Created and updated digital content using Illustrator, Photoshop and Excel - Shot professional photographs of jewellery for use in catalogues- Organised jewellery for use in fashion shows and celebrity advertising campaigns- Assisted external production teams with product testing of S/S ’15 belts as part of VW quality control process

- Worked for Studio and Product Development Manager as part of a team of ten interns- Varied experience working in design, pattern and production studios towards S/S ’14 and A/W ’14/15 collections- Developed extensive knowledge of handling different fabrics and used lay plans to cut more effectively and reduce waste- Assisted Pattern Cutting team with pattern work and alterations- Liaised with Design team to ensure placement of embroidery, lace and print designs were accurate and consistent across pattern and garment construction- Worked with external production factories to ensure quality control and to support manufacturing processes- Constructed various garments for sampling which were used in collection shows-Contributed towards construction on two wedding dress projects-Worked back of house in two seasons of London Fashion Week, which helped develop understanding of the business post-production
