About Katelyn Sheehan

My goal as a teacher is to educate others to appreciate the multifaceted world of science, utilizing an inquiry-based approach that encourages students to ask questions and construct their own explanations. My teaching philosophy includes maintaining a high level of rigor for learners while differentiating pedagogy in order to allow accessibility of material for all. A focus on teaching skills, and not just content alone, is critical to prepare our students for the 21st-century world. I also achieve professional and personal growth by actively seeking out opportunities for development.
