In my position as Operations Manager I was responsible for the leadership and management of approx. 100 employees (including 12 direct reports) who provided support to 250 individuals. Budget, risk and compliance management are key responsibilities of the role with a focus on cost reduction and providing quality supports aligned to the National Standards for Disability Services. I was a contributor to developing the organisations strategic direction & plan and was responsible for developing and delivering on the operational plan. I developed and maintained key stakeholder relationships with NDS, WAiS, Department of Communities - Disability Services and the Department of Social Services. I am most proud of leading the alignment of GIFSA services to the Positive Behaviour Support Framework.
