As a biochemical technologist by academic training, Kate worked her initial years of professional experience at JDS Uniphase, in a laboratory, where measurement and precision were of critical importance. Although the work was interesting, Kate realized her true skills were interpersonal. Combining her goals with her self-motivation, she boldly changed directions in her career and worked in a sales capacity over the next five years. Her sales experience led her to Property Management, both residential and commercial, in Ottawa, for 10 years. Kate is currently working at Gunnebo Canada, Ottawa location, as their Dispatcher & Service Coordinator.In addition to her professional journey, Kate has also been a leader in the volunteer community. She is currently the head coach for an U14 Boys Basketball team for the Gloucester-Cumberland Basketball Association.
