Instructional Systems Designer, Adjunct Professor/Course Creator, and former Corporate Training Analyst with 20+ years of experience specializing in instructional design, professional development in the electrical and aviation industries, project management, and linguistics/accent modification. Continuing to expand my experience within the aviation industry and am currently an FAA licensed Part 107 UAS Remote Pilot. I have written articles for several scholarly publications, including the Journal of Higher Education Management and Voice and Speech Review, and regularly present at the American Association of Adult and Continuing Education and Adult and Higher Education Alliance. I am proud to be a contract-based Professional Educator with the electrical training ALLIANCE where I work with those in the electrical trade in order to works towards becoming certified instructors at their local training centers. I earned my Ph.D. from Auburn University in May, 2016 and focused my research on the relationships between learning preferences, employee engagement and retention, educational attainment, and organizational behavior and loyalty within the teleconferencing industry.
