Key Electrician
Assistant Electrician
As Assistant Electrician, my job is to assist and facilitate the work of the Master and Production Electricians with PNB. I coordinate with the department to ensure the lighting plot is hung accurately and efficiently, focus the overstage section of the plot, and assist with troubleshooting as needed. During performances, I make sure color changes are done in accordance with the original lighting design and am in charge of making sure atmospherics like hazers and fans are functioning to the desired effect. With the onset of COVID-19, I've been filling in as a Spot Operator during our short filming stints and continue to assist and facilitate projects as needed based on the needs of my Master Electrician.
Lead Stage Technician
As one of Village Theatre’s Lead Stage Technicians, I serve as a point person for any of the Masters I’m working under—usually either the Master Electrician or the Master Stage Carpenter—to facilitate projects that need to be completed during a call. When working as an Electrician, I assist in the hangs and focuses for the theatre's 5-show season and 3-show Beta series, as well as maintaining the theatre's inventory of equipment. Other duties are assigned as needed by the Master Electrician. On occasion, I will serve as the Lead Electrician during a production’s tech to assist the ME with notes given by the production's Lighting Designer. For various other events, I will be brought in as the ME to supervise and assist clients with their lighting needs for the event. I have programming experience and am familiar with ETC's Eos, Ion, Express, and Gio consoles.Lead ElectricianMy Heart is the Drum (Spring 2016)Singin' in the Rain (Winter 2016)Into the Woods (Fall 2017)Disney’s Newsies (Winter 2017)Programmer - Great Wall (Everett, Summer 2015)As a Carpenter, my main task is usually working with the Master Stage Carpenter to load in a production's automation system, programming automation cues for a production, and running an Automation track during performances using the theatre's Creative Connors system.
