I am active in several specialty networking groups and I really value my interactions with OTs and other health professionals - they never fail to teach me things, make me laugh and surprise me! I help Doctors with decisions regarding their patient’s driving ability, by conducting a very thorough on and off-road assessment. And communicating the results to the person, Doctor and RMS immediately. I am also able to assist people with disabilities to gain their licence – including recommending engineering modifications to cars to enable people who may not be to drive a regular vehicle to obtain their licence.Additionally – I also provide a “get out of trouble and hit your deadlines” service to Health Professionals and Providers by conducting the following assessments, and delivering my reports in 24 hours, for the following:• ADL Assessments• Worksite Assessments• Functional Capacity Evaluations (Workhab or Insurer-specific)• Ergonomic Assessments – for offices, cars and (yes!) aeroplanes • Pre-employment medicals• Medical case conferencesAND…..
