- Guide anywhere between 12-20 prospective and admitted students through campus to increase their interest and knowledge about Tulane University- Have an in-depth understanding of the campus, what resources are available to students, and programs they may be interested in- Serve as a representative of the university and the Tulane community

- Provided note taking services to those with differing learning needs and abilities for challenging courses- Ensured equitable access to opportunities and education on campus- Courses: Intro to Cell & Molec Biology, Cellular Neuroscience, and Genetics

- Help foster and create an inclusive and welcoming environment for BIPOC identifying students - Work in partnership with the Office of Gender and Sexual Diversity staff and Student Ambassadors- Aide in outreach to various organizations and local businesses in the New Orleans community- Work hand-in-hand with more than 20 multicultural student organizations in accessing their budget, event planning and execution, etc.

- Held a position on Equity Council (Fall 2023) where I helped collect and compile data for a Demographic survey and Competency survey- Served as DEI Chair (Spring 2024)- Orchestrated recruitment and played an integral role on App Committee - Lead Implicit Bias Training for App Committee, oversaw Equity Council, and collaborated with other Executive Board members- Published and hosted weekly events to further strengthen members knowledge on diversity, equity, and inclusion

- Exploring research on social justice and its intersection in medicine- Focusing on how racism affects the pediatric residents in Tulane University School of Medicine’s pediatric residency program- Conducting literature reviews, monitoring survey responses, cleaning data for analysis, and preparing and writing results- Will be first author on initial publication

- Assist in the Morici lab in the Department of Microbiology and Immunology - Explore potential applications of T-vant in vaccines that protect against respiratory and bacterial infections

- Assisting PhD candidates in Dr. Gao’s laboratory - Utilizing techniques such as polymerase chain reaction (PCR)

- Selected as 1 of 10 participants for a fully funded, immersive program at Tulane University School of Medicine- Recognized and awarded "Best Surgical Skills" for having the fastest times recorded out of my cohort on multiple laparoscopic skill simulators- Formed meaningful relationships with staff and faculty in various departments such as admissions, surgery, endocrinology, etc.- Participated in workshops on financial literacy, MCAT preparation, well-being, etc.- Created and strengthened relationships with mentors - Attended didactics and simulation labs alongside third year residents- Spent two weeks each rotating on cardiology and surgical oncology, shadowing surgeons in the operating room and cath lab

- Worked hands on with patients from the start of their session to the end- Greeted and checked patients in, applied heat/ice on patients, and lead them through their exercises before handing them off to the therapists to be stretched- Developed therapeutic communication skills through getting to know every patient and worked interpersonally with them- Assisted anywhere between 1-5 patients at a time- Set up patients exercises in advance and memorized what their next exercise was so as to avoid a disruption in "flow"- Thrived in a fast-paced environment which further strengthened and developed my ability to multi-task
