I am an enthusiastic non-profit professional with over 25 years experience and a Certified Volunteer Administrator. I’m an effective community mobilizer, recruiter, manager, and trainer.I am a goal driven leader, able to build and support cohesive staff and volunteer teams under a wide variety of circumstances. I’ve inspired staff teams and volunteer committees to reach targets by utilizing individual strengths to achieve collective goals.I also have expertise in logistical event planning, project management, website maintenance, social media, risk management, budgeting, procurement, facilities maintenance, training facilitation, staff development, and administrative support services. My comprehensive background allows me to take a strategic yet creative approach to my work.I currently apply my strengths to my role as Director, Chapter Engagement and Events, engaging AFSP chapters nationally in AFSP's efforts to eliminate loss of life from suicide and create a culture that is smart about mental health through peer to peer fundraising events, including Construction Hike for Hope.
