Research, write, edit and post relevant and compelling articles online that uphold key messages and goals of the School of Nursing and College of Health Sciences. Develop and maintain relationships with faculty, students and alumni to craft stories about their research, accomplishments, and engagement both in the classroom and community.

Research and develop original narrative film projects by ideating, creating pitch decks, analyzing scripts and writing coverage. Track project development, cultivate industry partner relationships, and assist in administrative tasks.

Launched a virtual seminar series discussing the current state of media and the intersection of faith and journalism. Independently coordinated series schedule, speaker topics, publicity, and compensation.

Facilitated the newsroom, editorial meetings and production nights. Oversaw the editorial board, managed records, created schedules and hired staff. Led both the newspaper and yearbook in planning events and acting as the primary contact for university student publications.

Placed with Defense News through the National Journalism Center summer program. Work included writing, producing and editing the daily Defense News Minute video, as well as additional producing and editing as needed by the video team.
