I am able to solve problems in creative ways. At the University of Maryland, Baltimore County, I have been able to explore and expand my problem solving skills which I have then applied to various internships. These applications rage from using machine learning to classify the morphology of galaxies, and Lunar reconnaissance image process, to creating and testing thermal inks. My undergraduate studied in mechanical engineering have allowed to to discover where my strengths are in terms of technical skills and thinking critically. My experience as an undergraduate has shown me that there is a need for more computational skills within mechanical major. As a result, I have taken this opportunity to teach myself how to use various programming languages for my internships. With combining these skills that I have learned in my courses, and the skills I have gained while working on my internships, I have been able to combine my skills to use them to be a better mechanical and aerospace engineer.
