Taught basic sewing to children, teens and adults. Developed my own sewing program called Sew Up the Fun in 2004. Taught quilting at a local quilt shop and developed quilt patterns. I continued to teach the basics of sewing until 2009 and I taught quilting at thimbles & things until 2013.The business morphed when I purchased a combination sewing and embroidery machine in 2005. I worked with the local sewing machine dealer to learn the embroidery software and the intricacies of a sophisticated sewing/embroidery machine. I helped her to teach the ladies how to use their machines and software. When the requests for embroidering items for other people grew, I looked into commercial and semi-commercial embroidery machines. We purchased an industrial, single-head embroidery machine in 2008, as well as a heat press and vinyl cutter.We offer completely custom embroidery, digitising and imprinting services. Embroidery on quilts and the creation of quilt labels is a specialty.

- volunteer role- manage a team of 7 (3 District Supervisors, Director of Safety, Director of CISM/PSP, Director of Four Seasons Events, Zone Race Co-ordinator)- 18 patrol leaders covering 4 districts and 650 patrollers- deliver a Patrol Leader certification course (new)- deliver a Patrol Leader Seminar (an update course)- conduct a Patrol Leader end of season session
