For years I worked jobs where I just worked to pay the bills, I was very 9 - 5 or 8 - 6 working. I was never home with my children and was always just 'too busy' to enjoy the special moments with them, yet I never had the money to have those moments, it was all work no play! After going to University to study child psychology and progressing in my childcare career I decided enough was enough, I wanted to actually live my life not just survive it. I risked everything and went fully self employed as a Personal Trainer after going back to college to become a Fitness Instructor and Personal Trainer. My career took off and I was suddenly reaping the benefits of the hard work and commitment, but the time away from the children suddenly grew, then lockdown hit us and my business was no longer able to run the way it had been. During lockdown I transferred my business to online, it was a success and then when I headed back in the gym I was ready to go, until we hit lockdown in January 2021. This time I made the decision to remain online based. I then needed to do something else to earn the money I was earning, live the life I was living but remain at home with my children and run my Online Personal Training business, I felt at a loss, like was I asking too much? The answer was no, no I wasn't. In February this year I was introduced into a business I could work alongside my current business, help others and coach and support others like myself secure their future in building their own teams, here is where Energized was founded with my partner Iain, now we are looking to expand.
